What you'll be doing

Working within an exciting and fast paced environment, you will be a key member of our technical team and will ensure the service we provide to our customer is of exceptional quality. The role can be physically demanding with a good amount of pushing, pulling and lifting involved.

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 17:30pm – 05:30am

Pay Rate: £12.59 per hour

Working as a Laundry Operator on Night Shift you will be required to:

*         Carry out day to day laundry activities in line with daily requirements ensuring operational integrity

*         Review equipment and highlight damage, escalating risks to the appropriate personnel

*         Ensure that chemicals are used and stored correctly

*         Role involved cleaning wellingtons

*         Ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately and submitted to the correct personnel

*         Follow work instructions highlighting any issues to the Hygiene Senior Operator

*         Promote a good health, safety and environmental culture within the department

*         Identify and highlight any opportunities that make sustainable improvements to increase quality, performance in support of the overall shift plan

*         Flexibility to cover all other areas where needed.

What we’re looking for

*         Good level of English & Maths

*         Ideally hygiene experience within a food manufacturing environment, but this isn't mandatory

*         Attention to detail

*         Basic understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene

*         Ability to work unsupervised

*         Right first-time approach
