What you'll be doing:

To ensure that the hygiene standards are to an exceptional level and kept within all quality, legal and safety standards. 

To ensure all compliant with the customer code of practice and BRCGS Standards by making sure all Help Implement business improvements ensuring that food safety and quality remain at the forefront of the company. Ensuring hygiene operatives are appropriately trained, organised, and managed to complete the required workload. 

To manage issues with production management to minimise risk to product through effective hygiene management.

What we are looking for:

We’re looking for someone who believes that the key to the site’s overall success is through nurturing and developing the hygiene team members to achieve success. 

Knowledge and experience of BRC Standards 

Knowledge of Health & Safety policy and standards - 

Demonstrable experience of managing hygiene-based functions within a food manufacturing environment 

Relevant hygiene qualifications and training 

Ability to lead and influence at all levels (shop floor to senior management) across all site departments. - Knowledge and experience of pest control standards and requirements 

Strong management skills 

Organisational skills, ability to manage workload and prioritise. 

Strong communication skills. -

Knowledge of cleaning systems and methodology -

Highly motivated with good organisational skills 

Knowledge of COSHH regulation.

Shift Pattern:

4 on 4 off, 7am to 7pm.
