Our vast direct-to-store (DTS) distribution network, comprising of 17 depots nationwide, enables us to make over 10,400 daily deliveries of our own chilled and frozen produce and that of third parties. 
 

What you'll be doing 

 

Shift: 4 on 4 off - 18:00-06:00

 

Tamworth is a large picking depot and one of the busiest and most complexed in the area managing 5 major contracts and making over 2000 deliveries per day challenges our colleagues and enables them to build on their knowledge and grow their careers.

 

As a Transport Supervisor, your role will be to provide leadership of a shift ensuring consistent application of the department standards and processes that deliver transport schedule safely, legally and meeting the Operational KPIs and costs.

 

An ideal candidate will be from a transport background and already be operating at Transport Supervisor / FLM level with strong HR background, or someone with experience of managing large teams.

  • Availability to cover a range of shifts, if necessary.
  • Fleet management - call outs, PMIs, record keeping
  • Understanding of HGV and van legislation an advantage
  • Excel proficient
  • Problem solver and detail oriented
