Role Purpose
To coordinate and facilitate the delivery of talent and development programmes, initiatives, and activity across the group to ensure capability plans and interventions are delivered
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and plan activity aligned to specific events, recurring and one-off projects and interventions e.g., development centres, coaching events / newsletters, early careers week, celebration events, early careers development days – this includes liaising with external venue providers, booking accommodation and travel as necessary
- Supporting the business through ensuring colleague role profiles are up to date, accurate, and of appropriate quality
- Coordinate the systems, ensuring that administrative processes are followed in line with agreed timescales, and customer queries and problems are troubleshooted in a reasonable timeframe
- Analysing and reporting of themes, trends, and data
- Daily review or escalation of email queries or actions coming into team inboxes from colleagues, suppliers, customers, or educational providers to ensure an efficient and good service to colleagues
- Coordinate meetings, activities, engagements and events across the talent, development or inclusion curriculum, directly managing a broad range of stakeholders and related communications, and working with leadership teams EA’s to ensure delivery of committed plans
- Oversee all purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in budget tracking, setting up and managing supplier communications, and working with Finance to ensure budget controls remain in place
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
* Confident liaising with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
* Confident and regular user of software packages such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint
* Skilled at administering software solutions and platforms, specifically online data tracking and reporting systems
* Able to analyse data, collate reports and identify trends
* Able to use knowledge of the specialist area to identify issues/escalate when appropriate
* Proven coordination and event planning ability
* Excellent attention to detail
* Able to anticipate challenges, and use initiative working independently to resolve or improve processes
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure These may be trained or developed. These do not all need to be in place at recruitment.
