What you'll be doing
Ensure the resource and labour plan is executed and fulfilled in accordance with operational requirements and customer demand
- Develop the short, medium and long-term labour plan to optimise line balancing and units per labour hour targets
- Coordinate all weekly recruitment requirements and schedule agency labour flex, manage, and maintain the labour database, to ensure resource plan is met
- Management of the skills matrix and associated recruitment to advise trainers to ensure correct level of skills to deliver the labour plan
- Monitor the training activity to determine the correct availability of skills to deliver the labour plan
- Management of time and attendance exceptions to ensure delivery of the labour schedule
- Manage colleague holiday requests to ensure correct level of skill availability
- Work alongside line managers and our Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) team to understand any working restrictions – to move labour around accordingly
- Understand starter and leaver process including induction and training to monitor correct level of skills
What we are looking for
- Confident liaising with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Confident and regular user of software packages such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Skilled at administering software solutions and platforms, specifically online data tracking and reporting systems
- Able to analyse data, collate reports and identify trends
- Able to use knowledge of the specialist area to identify issues/escalate when appropriate
- Proven coordination and event planning ability
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to anticipate challenges and use initiative working independently to resolve or improve processes
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure
