What you'll be doing

Coordinator – Mixing – Back Shift – Continental Shift 3’s and 2’s B Shift 12:00-00:00 at £13.68 per hour.

 

We are looking for an experienced Mixing Coordinator to work in our mixing department on our night shift. Working within an exciting and fast paced environment, you will be a key member of our team and will ensure the service we provide to our customer is of exceptional quality. The role is rather physically demanding with a good amount a pushing, pulling and lifting involved. Then there is the skilled side of the role which is the batching and weighing of ingredients into large bins, then transferring via a mechanical lift into an industrial paddle mixer for a specific duration, then into bins for the Filling Lines, whilst filling out all checks.

-        Ensure any relevant CCP’s/Allergen Controls are adhered to.

-        To assist in the active promotion of a safety culture and ensure all health and safety requirements are met in the area.

-        To take ownership for product quality in the day to day running of the area/department/shift

-        To ensure all company procedures are followed by all employees and that good hygiene and housekeeping practices are always maintained.

-        Ensure that all product handling and manufacturing is done in a hygienic environment in compliance with food legislation.

-        Ensure good communications are maintained within the department/area/shift and with all departments.

-        To assist in the setting KPI’s, monitoring and take accountability to achieve the targets set.

-        To cover leave of colleagues and manage holiday/absence from all teams.

-        Ensure all paperwork completed in all areas/departments and is accurate, reliable, comprehensive, and legible.

-        In addition, you may be required to carry out any other duties within your capacity which the Company may reasonably require.

 

What we’re looking for

-        Good level of English & Math - you will be required to follow processes and recipes, as well as ensuring the correct quantities are used in each batch.

-        Ideally experience in a chilled food manufacturing environment, but this isn't mandatory - other FMCG backgrounds will be considered.

-        Attention to detail.

-        Basic understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene.

-        Ability to work unsupervised.

-        Right first-time approach.
