Contract Type: Permanent - Fulltime
Shift Pattern/ Time: 5/7, Sunday to Thursday, 06:00 - 15:30
Rate: £13.16
Location: Greencore Bow, Twelvetrees Crescent, London E3 3JG
(Please note this is a full-time role only)
What you’ll be doing –
- Ensure compliance with site safety systems, safe operating procedures, and health and environmental practices, serving as a role model for colleagues.
- Monitor and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices, including hygiene protocols, proper attire, and ingredient handling, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with the WIP Team Leader and operatives to prepare ingredients and mixes in alignment with line requirements, ensuring smooth assembly line operations.
- Liaise with Goods In to order necessary ingredients, monitor traceability records for accuracy, and address any discrepancies promptly.
- Assist with shift start-up checks, lead end-of-shift stock-taking processes, and ensure minimal ingredient wastage through accurate weighing, proper stock rotation, and use-by-date management.
- Work as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently, follow managerial instructions, and escalate issues to the Line Manager when required.
What we are looking for -
- Ability to work in a fast past, chilled environment
- Has a keen eye for detail and can demonstrate working in a safe manner and to good H&S practices
- Experience of working in a food production environment essential.
- Experience of working in a role involving manual handling desired.
- Experience of leading/overseeing a team desired (direct line management)
