Job description

Days - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 5am-5pm (after 6 weeks rotates to Thursday, Friday, Saturday for a further 6 weeks) Also, you will be required to work every other Sunday.

We have been serving our customers out of our Selby site since 1914. We produce more than 160 million units per year across 600 different product lines for customers such as Morrisons, Tesco & Asda.

Pay rates (Over time is after 36 hours a week x1.25)

Day shift - £15.23 per hour

 

What you'll be doing

In this role as a Hygiene Coordinator, you will set the standard on maintaining high quality hygiene standards and following Greencore practices in regards to cleanliness. Duties of this role include:

  • Reporting directly to the Area hygiene leader
  • Responsible for day to day running of the shift
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure cleans are done in an efficient manner
  • Inspection of post clean standards
  • Maintaining high levels of health and safety standards
  • Ensuring staff are trained and competent to complete given tasks
  • Equipment and production areas cleaned to the required standard and to schedule
  • Using cleaning products at correct dilutions to ensure safe and efficient use
  • Discretion at all times (will be required to work in areas containing private and confidential information)
  • Working safely, conforming to all health and safety procedures
  • Completion of required paperwork.

  • Experience managing a team
  • Able to delegate tasks to meet deadlines
  • Health & Safety Level 2
  • Food Safety Level 2
  • COSHH Awareness
  • Basic level of IT skills Microsoft applications e.g. emails, word, excel  etc.
  • Strong communication skills
