Our vast direct-to-store (DTS) distribution network, comprising of 17 depots nationwide, enables us to make over 10,400 daily deliveries of our own chilled and frozen produce and that of third parties.

This role will be based out of our Manton 110 offices. 

What you'll be doing

You will manage an effective HR Shared Services department operating as a centre of excellence delivering efficient transactional and advisory support to the business.

*       Deliver a HR Shared Services centre for the whole group, utilising enabling technology and associated end to end processes, which continuously develops and delivers in line with business strategy and requirements

*       Coach, support, mentor and build HR Shared Services team capability to ensure they are engaged and achieving their potential

*       Proactively seek to partner and build understanding of the needs and activity of the business to inform changes to service delivery which promote an excellent customer experience, with a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging adoption of the underpinning technology with the customer population

*       Partnering with the HR community to ensure that the transactional and advisory services reliably deliver high quality compliant service aligned to business needs

*       Effectively monitor the service performance through agreed service level agreements and highlight areas of concern, use short, medium and long-term plans to ensure solutions are in place if needed

*       CIPD membership and qualification or time served in HR

*       Proven experience of HR Shared Services management, ideally within a large business

*       Experience of transactional HR and advisory activities

*       Up to date knowledge and understanding of employment legislation

*       Demonstrate an understanding of HR and case management systems

*       Robust organisational skills with high attention to detail

*       Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
