Our Manton Wood site has a gym, restaurant with hot food and a staff shop available to all our colleagues.

What You’ll Be Doing
As Head of Demand, you will lead the demand planning process for the total business, ensuring processes facilitate data and reviews, support the building of sales activity strategy engaging with sales teams, and ensuring decisions on priorities are made.
- Define and lead demand planning processes for the total business
- Ensure consistency and alignment across the total business in demand planning processes to ensure accurate forecasting with Commercial, Operational and Financial leads as required
- Lead monthly planning processes to ensure decisions can be made on the sales programmes in required time to deliver the required sales, portfolio and capability, supporting the build of our sales and marketing strategy, ensuring incremental growth is delivered for the business
- Support leadership of weekly planning processes by exception (deferring to demand planning managers as much as possible) to ensure decisions can be made on the execution of sales and marketing plans
- Collate the monthly reporting of demand planning activity including revenue, margin and volume tracking and critical correlation and market intelligence statistics along with customer collaboration and consensus in plan
- As a key leader in the IBP process, decide upon issues affecting demand planning across the total business and ensure recommendations reach the reconciliation and management reviews, in conjunction with IBP and business leadership peers
- Overall responsibility for demand planning processes, managing team to deliver the required plans, analysis, modelling, consensus, and decision-making required, with appropriate time fence compliance
- Measure demand planning in the business by customer collaboration, experience and satisfaction and market share analysis
- As required, contribute to necessary meetings relating to the successful completion of sales activities, e.g., sales meetings, market reviews or customer meetings, this may include other functional meetings as required to ensure business support for the sales and marketing strategic plan
- Support the achievement of our sustainability plan through leading with a sustainability mindset

- Implement and ensure compliance with our data management and governance policies, procedures and/or guidance governance approaches so that associated risks are mitigated and managed
What we’re looking for
- Experience and capability of identifying and delivering innovative solutions - constantly learning and evolving best practice
- FMCG experience, understands how businesses operate and the interconnection between the business functions including the wider supply network, customers and suppliers
- Experience of operating in commercial and/or finance roles, with understanding of costings and margin management practices sufficient to assess potential impact and benefits/issues that change to practice may bring
- Demonstrable experience of leading change programmes, across multiple disciplines and sites, which deliver sustained performance improvement
- Able to influence senior stakeholders through being well informed across the organisation
- Experience applying adaptable communication techniques
- Desired: educated to degree level
- Able to travel to different sites for face-to-face meetings
