Here at Bow, we have a team of around 800 colleagues. We produce sandwiches, wraps, platters, sub rolls and baguettes for some of the biggest retailers in the UK including Sainsbury’s, Co-op, Asda, Morrisons.

What you'll be doing

-To ensure the plant and machinery are cleaned according to the Hygiene Instruction Cards.

- Work closely with the Hygiene Supervisor/ Team Leaders and the Management team to make improvements and promote the Hygiene Department within the company.

- Completion of cleaning schedule documentation as required in a clear, accurate and legible manner.

- Use all chemicals appropriately and safely according to the COSHH regulations.

- Deep cleaning of relevant areas following the cleaning schedule, as and when required.

- Ensure all cleaning equipment is well maintained and reporting any faults to your manager promptly.

- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and housekeeping at all times.

- Report problems or issues as they arise, which may impact on product quality, Production/Hygiene activities and environmental issues.

- Ensure Health & Safety procedures, Quality/Hygiene standards and Company Rules/Procedures are always adhered to.

- Keeping the internal and external areas of the factory clean and tidy

Shift Pattern: 4 ON 4 OFF nights; 7 PM – 7AM

What we’re looking for

Experience working in a role involving manual handling desired.

On the job training will be provided to effectively clean equipment/ machines

Experience of working in a food production environment is desired, but not always essential.

Cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
