The MBE Programme presents a huge opportunity for colleagues across the technology function to play a central role in the design, shape, delivery and execution of an enterprise-wide digital transformation programme. The complexity of the initiative, within a FTSE 250 business, will allow for large-scale problem solving, group wide impact assessment and supporting the delivery of an enablement project to future proof the business.
The Process Design Lead will oversee the design and optimization of business processes to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. This role involves leading a team of Senior Functional Analysts and Functional Analysts, collaborating with all stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities, ensure delivery to requirements from project activity, ensuring the successful implementation of process changes.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead and mentor a team of Senior Functional Analysts and Functional Analysts, providing guidance, support and development in their roles
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders who play a part in process, ensuring that any potential issues are documented and dealt with
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize process improvement opportunities
- Develop and document detailed process designs and technical specifications
- Ensure alignment of process designs with business objectives and best practices
- Oversee the implementation of process changes, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented process changes, making adjustments as necessary
- Present process improvement initiatives to stakeholders, clarifying their roles and responsibilities
- Support the delivery of enablement projects to future-proof the business
What you'll need:
- Strong technical skills with a focus on business process design and optimization
- Capable of mapping processes and developing effective solutions
- Proven track record of delivering process improvements at all organizational levels
- Understanding of the ERP development cycle, Basis landscape, and transport systems
- Beneficial knowledge of ERP systems and how they work
- Practical problem-solving and issue resolution skills
- Clear understanding of how to drive business value and demonstrate robust business acumen
- Self-motivated with excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well in a team
